How to reach: If you want to feel the serenity of the nature then visit to Palmajua is must. You can visit Palmajua by car but for that you have to come to Manebhanjan which is about one and half hours from the main Darjeeling. It is about 4.5 to 5 hours journey from Bagdogra airport and NJP to reach Manebhanjan. From there Palmajua is another one hour.

Where to stay: If you are visiting Palmajua, then there are forest bungalows where you can stay. You are not going to find hotels or resorts over there because it is not yet a fully developed tourist spot. You can also stay in Singalila Jungle lodge. The lodge is beautifully designed by plantations and lush greenery. You can enjoy the birds chirping and the stunning view of the Singalila national park along with the landscape view of the beautiful Rimbik.

What to see: Palmajua will give you a lot of visual treat altogether. If you love trekking then this is the best place to enjoy. In Singalila National Park you will find Pangolins and Red Panda. Apart from these there are many other animals to cherish. Palmajua is a place where almost 170 species of birds visit every year. Daramdin of West Sikkim, Ramman Hydel power project, sunrise in Dhotrey are worth a visit. Moreover, you can also take a tour to Meghma, Srikhola, Sandakphu range. Palmajua is best known for weekend picnics, night safaris and fishing on the river.
