Anupam gets his dream singer for his upcoming composition

After big hits like Piku, Pink, Pari, etc. Anupam Roy is now composing a song for the upcoming movie “October”, starring Varun Dhawan, Banita Sandhu, and Gitanjali Rao. The movie has been directed by Shoojit Sircar and the story is written by Juhi Chaturvedi.

The Bengal Boy Anupam Roy claimed himself to be one of the biggest fans of the singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and it was his dream to compose a song for him. According to him, when he got the lyrics for the song and was going through it, he could hear Rahat Fateh Ali Khan singing the song.

After listening to the composition, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan accepted the proposal to sing the song for the movie. Anupam Roy shared his experience about how he became tongue-tied when he first called Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the proposal. He also mentioned how happy he was knowing the fact that he will be composing a Hindi song from Kolkata which will be sung by the legendary Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

The scratch record was sent to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and he recorded the song in Pakistan. He also improvised a little with his vocal variations and the song “Tab Bhi Tu” got released on March 28, 2018. The movie will be hitting the box office on 13^th April 2018.
