Actress Sangeetha Balan sent to Jail

Popular TV actress Sangeeta Balan was arrested by the Police on 2^nd June for allegedly running a prostitution racket at a resort in Panaiyur. Her partner, Sathish was also arrested from the resort on the outskirt of Chennai. According to senior police officer Mahalakshmi of the city’s anti-vice squad, they received a tip-off that Sangeetha and Sathish were operating from the resort.

Several leading actors are reportedly involved in the racket and the police is investigating. Currently, Sangeetha and her accomplice are serving in jail.
