Abhijit Das Gupta is all set to present his latest Bengali film Asbo aar ekdin

It has come to light that Abhijit Das Gupta, after a fantastic debut with Dityop Basanta, is all set to present his latest Bengali film Asbo aar ekdin.
The director presented a story of broken Mayfair’s, aspirations and utopist isolations in an urban upper middle class family in the film. Here the family consists of Sujata (played by Aloka Nanda Roy), her son Sunil (Arindam Sil), daughter-in-law Chandana (Roopa Ganguly), his daughter Meera (Swastika Mukherjee). Sunil and Chandana had adopted Anwar (Gaurav Chakrabarty) long ago.
The story involves Meera, who is the truly delightful but diligent daughter of the family, works in an office and also has a passion for theatre. Later, at the theatre circle, she stumbles upon Karan (Abir Chatterjee)-a Punjabi boy. No doubt, Karan is a smart and sober man, who is born and brought up in a lovable Punjabi family within the area of Kolkata. Ultimately, Meera and Karan slowly fall in love and as time went, both families accept their relationship quite amicably and they get married.
On the other side, Anwar’s grandmother Sujata-the lady of the household, spends major part of her time praying for the goodwill of the family. Initially, Sujata was irate regarding Anwar’s presence in the family but at present she treats him lovingly like her own grandson.
Anwar’s mother Chandana dotes over her son. It cannot be ignored that Meera and Anwar are more like her own siblings since there is hardly any age difference between them. Particularly, Chandana is the ideal mother, who is well aware of the preferences of each member of her family.
Chandana’s husband Sunil, who works as a senior executive of a multinational firm, not only remains busy is business but also knows how to make hay for his family while the sun shines simultaneously. Undoubtedly, he is an ideal father and a beloved husband.
Precisely, Anwar lives his life in his own way. He lives in a loving family, along with a group of vibrant friends but even then he is in search of something that no one understands, not even himself. In fact, he is simple like any other college going student, who loves to go out with his friends. He also has a lovely girl, Kuhu (Ridhima Ghosh) to love but still is bamboozled about his preferences in life. With time, Kuhu plays a major role in his life. She loves to sing and loves to do that more when Anwar is around. She cultivates the dream to be a singer and has already began to show her potentiality.
As the story progresses, these characters will be seen suffering one crisis or the other. Their crisis compels them to find an answer to the ultimate question-“How essential is metaphysical to the existence of physical?” or simply ”Which is more crucial among body and the soul ?”
Aashbo Aar Ekdin is written and produced by Dr. Kalyan Bose. The film is a real family drama which dives into the complexities of family life, love and much more. To be frank, the film promises to connect with both the youth along with the aged. The makers of Aashbo Aar Ekdin claimed that the film is also inspiring and motivational in its true sense, as the story revolves around society, religion and above all humanism and dignity of mankind.

Apart from a nice concept, the film has Barun Mukherjee as the lens man, who is popular for his contribution to Bollywood films like Babul and Baghban. Moreover, the music of the film has been composed by leading Bengal Band Chandrabindoo. Indradeep Dasgupta is anticipated to be another big high point of the film.
