Rahul Bose has introduced Pratyush in Rhitobrata Bhattacharya's Sandhya Namar Aage

To the surprise of everyone, Rahul Bose has emerged with his detective fiction, his career apart from writing his next script.
We all know that Bengal has popular detectives like Feluda, Kakababu and Bomkesh. In addition, Rahul has launched the character Pratyush in his script to be introduced in Rhitobrata Bhattacharya's Sandhya Namar Aage. In the same lines, Rahul elaborated that there is a marvelous tradition of detective fiction in Bengal. Of course, they respect that and would like to refresh and bring out another personality and another human being. In fact, they are planning to introduce another kind of detective. Undoubtedly, he can assure that Pratyush will be a pleasant surprise.
Regarding audience acceptance, Rahul opined that Bengalis are the brightest people on the earth and they really love their crime fiction. So, definitely they will accept it.
Very few people know that Rahul loves Feluda books. He has even played Feluda in 2 BBC radio plays Joy Baba Felunath and Sonar Kella. Hence, Feluda is his favorite detective. His favorite international detective is Precious Ramotswe from Alexander McCall Smith's The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency.
Keeping aside veteran directors, Rahul chose Rhitobrata, who is new to direction. The reason behind this is that he liked the story, script as well as the character they were creating. Rhitobrata is a very gentle & cultured person, who accepts collaborations. As a result, they emerged with something that is quite uncommon.
Previously, Rahul has a wonderful experience of working with Rituparna Sengupta in Anuranan. He had a lovely time with her. However, this is the first time he will be working with Palash Sen apart from Payel Sarkar.
Regarding other projects, Shesher Kobita and Vishwaroopam 2 are all set to release. Another film with Shahana Goswami in Bangladesh is under construction right now. Currently the film, which is made in English and Bangla, is in post-production phase. Actually, it is set against the background of a garment factory collapse and it is all about the disintegration of Shahana on the Bangaldesh stage. In fact, he is playing an art curator, who travels around the world and deals with quality Bangladeshi art internationally. In addition, he is writing his next script, which he is also making. It consists of multiple languages and numerous actors, where he will have a small role.
